This is my third Mitchell wallet (because I love the various leathers), my first in a natural veg-tan. I love the patina potential, essentially, on a wallet I already know is a pretty much perfect minimal wallet. Three Sons Leather makes very nice things, indeed.

The craftsmanship is great but the English Tan is actually a dull, solid dark brown and doesn’t look anything like in the pictures. There’s not much in the way of marbling. It is much closer to the colour of autumn harvest or medium brown than the light coloured leather in the pictures. Seth was quick to respond but it seems like this dark brown is just how the English tan actually is. I want to like this wallet but it’s really disappointing.
